Exclusive Focus Causes God’s Reciprocation. {148.}

Radhasoami Dayal Ki Daya
Radhasoami Sahai

May Compassionate Radhasoami Shower His Grace

****

Radhasoami!
****

I am nought save in my faith.
I think of nothing else.
I value only God’s Pleasure.
I desire only redemption soon.
I speak only about mysticism.
I do but serve Mission.

I am shut to all else
and singlemindedly concentrated on my goal.

The inevitable has to occur,
is happening now,
and will naturally continue
until my faith stands fully consummated.

God shall really become and prove
the reality and experience
to my entire life and fate.

So, let Grace work miracles,
even as I humbly pray
to the Supreme Force that causes
this entire existential play.

I Just Want Out Fast. {138.}

Radhasoami!
****

This life seems got not of my asking
I withdraw from it into my own being.

I seek to be neither beggar nor king
Evolved beyond need of thought, emotion, talking, doing.

My best hours are spent but in meditating
Deaf to the world, hearing celestial bells ringing.

Nothing worthwhile has ever come free or easy
Redemption needs deep faith, perseverance bred of sincerity.

Life is a nightmare that cannot long last
Help me Lord, I just want out fast!

There’s Many a Slip Betwixt … {135.}

Radhasoami!
****

Yes, there’s many a slip betwixt …

the cup & the lip,

one’s being & its perceptions,

the aspiration & the action,

the deed & the outcome,

the belief & the reality,

the emotion & attained happiness,

the truth & its expression,

the sin & its reckoning,

this world & utopian ideal,

one’s faith & its consummation,

one’s prayer & God’s Grace,

life's uncertainties & death's finality,

one’s meditation & final redemption.

Indeed, too many a slip betwixt ....

Life is Akin to Hell. {134.}

Radhasoami!
****

A pig can be content
to wallow in the muck.

So, human contentment is hardly
an absolute measure
of one’s state of existence.

God, paradise, salvation,
and such words
have obviously remained mere words
despite umpteen divine incarnations worldwide,
many global religions,
and centuries of humanity’s
apparent quest for a veritable utopia.

Humanity is confused and floundering,
drowned in its own flood
of meaningless knowledge.

You’ve got to know
just what you’re missing
to truly want it.

The rare soul
who sincerely yearns for God
naturally believes in the hereafter
perhaps as all fail to.

To such a one,
life does become akin to hell
and eternal bliss draws her
across the threshold of life.

I fear this world seems destined
to witness many a disaster yet
before frolicking humanity really needs to:
believe in the beyond,
desperately turn to God,
and earnestly strive for its redemption.

Stop … Pause Awhile … Wonder … Think! {132.}

Radhasoami!
****

Halt!
Pause awhile.

Stop living your usual life.
Take a break from routine.

You’ve been doing it for too long enough.
Have you got what you desired or expected?
Are you headed in the right direction?
Will this lead you to your destination?

The unreflected life is measly existence
or a brutish engagement
in the senseless ratrace
that characterizes most life.

Get out of the rut.
Accept that you are yet alien to God,
remote from the possibility
of your salvation,
and guarantee of attaining paradise.

This world is a temporary station,
decreed by the gods for destruction.

Life is but an illusory reality.

Tap into your innermost being,
you shall access the divine spark ,
which is your priceless soul.

This world is mere quicksand
and life a fleeting chance
for you to realize God.

Prove that you are a being
made in the likeness of God --
aware, enlightened, responsible, moral --
by valuing and persevering for your redemption
seriously, rightly, earnestly, determinedly, intensely, ….

Take a break
from your way of living,
and invent another
more adequate for your salvation.

The Death that All Dread. {112.}

****
Radhasoami!

Param Sant Kabir Sahib Ji
has penned umpteen memorable lines,
including the following:
Ja marne se jag darey / Mere man anand
Kab mariho kab paiyo / Puran parmanand
.”

That is,
“The death that all fear / I long for
Oh, when would I die and attain / Complete bliss.”

Caught up as we are
in the whirl of life,
it might be worthwhile to
pause and wonder about what
lies on the other side,
how one might cross over,
and achieve one’s true salvation.

Death is not to be feared;
it is the gateway to redemption.

Life is not the ultimate reality;
it’s a kaleidoscope offering a chance
for deserving souls to ensure salvation.

Let’s all value and live rightly,
focused on the paradise beyond life!

Let Love for Lord Blossom. {104.}

****
Radhasoami!

Let love for the Lord
blossom deep in your heart.

Let love for the Lord
keep growing in your heart.

Love is verily God’s essence.

Love is the swiftest route
to God, redemption & paradise.

Love is the sire of
a host of other virtues.

Guru jab isko pyara hoye /
Guru ko pyara tab yeh hoye
.”

That is,
“When the devotee loves the Master /
the Master too Loves the devotee.”

So, engender, cultivate and nourish
deep love for Gracious Huzur;
all else will then occur
naturally, incidentally, magically & fatedly.

Satsang: Its Benefits & Necessity.
****

Satsang se karma bharma dhoor hothe hain. Bina inke dhoor hue abhyaas nahin banega aur sachha uddhaar nahin hoga.”

---- Param Guru Huzur Maharaj Ji; Prashnottar, Guru Updesh, Page 36, No. 30.

Its simple translation into English may be rendered as follows:

“Satsang rids one of illusions and deeds. Without distancing these, proper meditation cannot be performed and true salvation cannot be attained.”

O Lord, Fulfill Everyone’s Tasks. {100.}

****
Radhasoami!

Soami Tum kaaj Banaye saban ke.”

That is,
“O Lord, Fulfill everyone’s tasks.”

This is the opening line
of a favorite Paath {hymn} of mine.

The line stresses that it is God
Who finally consummates all matters.

It is a humble plea for Grace.

It is a simple expression of gratitude.

The prayer wants everyone’s tasks --
not desires -- to be realized.

Most importantly, the prayer is
not selfish in its focus;
one seeks that the Lord
realize the tasks of all.

I may add that the word “tasks”
only inadequately conveys the import
that the word “kaaj” contains.

Indeed, the tasks are not worldly goals,
but basically denote the goal of salvation.

So, the hymn is a collective prayer
thanking the Lord for ensuring everyone's redemption.

Make Space for Almighty Lord. {79.}

****
Radhasoami!

We are all terribly busy.
The world is a delight.
Life is full of desires.
So it would seem anyway.

Trapped within the human shield,
stuck within the Chaurasi cycle,
{of 84 lakh successive life-forms
for the transmigration of soul}
we have little time
to ponder over God.

Yet this is the only time
that we are ever to have
of securing our salvation.

Dil ka hujra saaf kar
Jaana ke aane ke liye.
Dhyan gairon ka hata
Usko bithane ke liye
.”

That is,
“Purge your heart
that the Beloved may appear.
Cease awareness of others,
to allow divine consciousness.”

Nature permits no vacuum,
and things need space to be.

A life embroiled in
petty, superficial, worldly matters
cannot be destined for early redemption.

A mind perennially obsessed with
sensual thrills or material possessions
cannot harbor genuine spiritual longings.

Therefore, it pays to
curtail one’s worldly
associations, thoughts, activities.

There is little benefit from such things;
it’s just a waste of one’s time.

One’s life gets past
before one realizes it.

Make space for Almighty Lord.

Stop thinking of undeserving people,
stop pursuing unnecessary, sinful desires,
stop chasing hollow, worldly goals.

God is elsewhere, truth is different.

The route to God and salvation
are individual, mystical and internal.

Make space for God within your being.
Make space for Grace in your life.
Make space for redemption in your destiny.

Where, Pray, After You Die? {23.}

****
Radhasoami!

Every human or other living being represents the effect of all one’s past impulses & deeds in all one’s earlier lifetimes.
You may believe you suddenly do something, but actually you have been preparing yourself for several lifetimes for doing it.
Besides, we are all essentially ignorant, imperfect and limited beings leading lives in an evil world.
Hence, one’s present karmas are extremely important.
Your present thoughts, desires, words & actions are preparatory to your future state of life, & to your ultimate spiritual end.
It is everyone’s individual responsibility to value, choose, decide, care, & actually make the proper efforts in striving to ensure one’s state of life &, far more importantly, one’s desserts & status in the afterlife.

WHERE DO YOU WANT TO BE AFTER YOU DIE?
This is the key question that ought to determine your entire living.
It is surprising -- actually unbelievable -- that people care so tremendously for their worldly gains that can at the most last a few months, years or decades.
Human lifespan itself is so severely limited, in the cosmic timeframe.
However, spiritual benefits acquired by securing a berth in the redemptive Radhasoami Ferry & performing good deeds last one till eternity.
It behoves the sensible to care for their eventual spiritual welfare & destiny at least as much as they do for the next meal that they are to have, or for that splendid
house that they so keenly wish to buy.

Haven’t we had enough of collective & continuing ignorance, wrong valuing and myopia?
What do you care more about: that petty & measly trinket, or sincerely persevering to deserve that your soul could rejoice in ineffable bliss in an eternal paradise?
It is only humans, among all the living beings, who might possibly ponder over such choices, because they are the only fortunate ones who actually possess these options.

Please don’t waste your priceless human birth!
Please don’t ignore my words, believing them not to contain truth, or as being irrelevant for you!

Please don’t forego this opportunity that you now have of seeking to really ensure your eventual redemption.
Please don't let the most vital decision, which will directly determine the state of your soul for an eternity, be made -- owing to your lack of responsibility, & your continuing desire to evade it --"by default". {You deserve better than that, don't you?}

None of the others, & nothing of the usual sort, matters.
Life is a fleeting illusory play, but God’s Grace will really work, if you take care to deserve it.
Just how truly, honestly and intensely do you really care for what happens to your soul in the afterlife?
That’s more important than absolutely anything else!
Yes, seek the truth, while you can, & it will, indeed, enable you your freedom, transcendence and salvation.
