Spiritual Deeds Win Secret Rewards.
****

Sansaar ki jo karthoot hai, uska phal jeeva ko pratyaksh nazrayi detha hai, is sabab se sansaar mein jaldi phans jatha hai. Aur parmarath ka phal gupt hai, us par jaldi nishchay nahin atha hai. Aur pahle nishchay hona zarur hai, kyonki bina nishchay ke karthoot kuchh nahin banegi aur jab kuchh karthoot na bani, tho phal kaise miley aur tarakki kaise howey.”

---- Param Purusha Puran Dhani Huzur Soami Ji Maharaj;
The Holy Sar Bachan {Nasr}; No. 172, Page 134.
****

Its simple translation into English may be rendered as follows:

“With regard to worldly activities, one gets to see their manifest results, therefore, one gets entangled in the world easily. However, the rewards from spiritual activities are secret, and it is difficult to believe in them. It is necessary to first have the right belief {and trust}, for one cannot be enabled spiritual deeds in the absence of {faith and} conviction, and if one doesn’t perform any spiritual deeds, then how can there be any rewards or progress?”

Gross Self Targeting Subtle Sounds.

Shabd sookshm hai aur jeeva ka swaroop sthool ho gaya hai. Phir jeeva Shabd mein ekdam kaise lagey? Sthoolta ko dhoor karne ka upaay Satguru bhakti hai, aur jab thak Satguru bhakti durusthi se na banegi, tab thak Shabd mein lagne ka adhikari na hoga.”

---- Param Purusha Puran Dhani Huzur Soami Ji Maharaj;
The Holy Sar Bachan {Nasr}; No. 223, Page 170.
****

Its simple translation into English may be rendered as follows:

“The {mystical and divine} Word {or Sound} is subtle and the form of the living being has become gross. So how can one suddenly get attuned to the Sound? The method to rid oneself of grossness is worship of the Satguru, and till such time as one doesn’t perform the Satguru’s worship perfectly, one will not become fit to get absorbed in the Sound.”

Its simple translation into English may be rendered as follows:

“The Satsang of the Saints is such a Kalpatru {wish-fulfilling stone} that it distances all one’s desires. It is said that the Kalpatru satisfies all one’s desires, but it has never been found by anyone. But Satsang itself is the Kalpatru. Therefore, one ought to do Satsang continuously. If you can’t perform Satsang much, then do so a little, but do it with sincerity, don’t do it with dishonesty as that won’t result in any benefit.”
