Divine Proximity Naturally Induces Humility. {151.}

It is only by
transcending one’s human ego
and nullifying one’s self
that one can possibly deserve God.

Proximity to God naturally induces
humility in the blessed soul.

One beholds the divine vision,
and realizes one’s sheer insignificance
in the infinite cosmic order,
in a manner of speaking.

Even the faith, godly proximity,
especial abilities and unique accomplishments
that the inspired may possess
are essentially gifts from God.

The sincere soul remains humble
and immeasurably grateful to God.

I Just Want Out Fast. {138.}

Radhasoami!
****

This life seems got not of my asking
I withdraw from it into my own being.

I seek to be neither beggar nor king
Evolved beyond need of thought, emotion, talking, doing.

My best hours are spent but in meditating
Deaf to the world, hearing celestial bells ringing.

Nothing worthwhile has ever come free or easy
Redemption needs deep faith, perseverance bred of sincerity.

Life is a nightmare that cannot long last
Help me Lord, I just want out fast!

God Reciprocates Devotee’s Sincere Love.
****

“Sincere love is reciprocal.
So, if one has a heart full of love for the Supreme Being,
He is sure to be attracted towards him by Grace, Mercy and holy Light,
which will gradually illumine his inner self,
and then all menial or worldly affections and desires will gradually disappear.”

Difference between Gurumukh and Manmukh.
****

Gurumukh har ek ke saath sachhayi se barathta hai aur burayi ki baathon se bachta hai aur kisi ko dhokha nahin detha hai aur jo kaam karta hai Satguru ke liye aur Unki Daya ke bharose par karta hai.
Manmukh chaturayi aur kapat se barathta hai aur apne matlab ke liye auron ko dhokha detha hai, apni buddhi aur chaturayi ka bharosa rakhta hai aur apne aap ko pragat karna chahta hai.”

---- Param Purusha Puran Dhani Huzur Soami Ji Maharaj;
The Holy Sar Bachan {Nasr}; No. 262:1, Page 192.
****

Its simple translation into English may be rendered as follows:

“The Gurumukh {Guru-oriented} conducts himself honestly with everyone and guards against bad things and doesn’t deceive anyone, and whatever he does, he does for the Satguru, and remaining dependent on His Grace.
The Manmukh {ego-driven} conducts himself with insincerity and cleverness, and deceives others for his own interests, banks on his own intelligence and cleverness, and wants to project his own self.”

Magical Means of Transcending Desires.
****

Santon ka Satsang aisa Kalpatru hai ki sab baasna dhoor kar detha hai. Aur kahte hain ki Kalpatru sab baasna poori kar detha hai, par aaj thak kisi ko mila nahin. Lekin Satsang tho nij Kalpatru hai. Isliye barambaar Satsang karna chahiye. Bahut na ban sakey tho thoda karey, par sachauti ke saath karey, kapat se na karey ki usmein kuchh phayda nahin hai.”

---- Param Purusha Puran Dhani Huzur Soami Ji Maharaj; The holy Sar Bachan {Nasr}, No. 28, Page 81.
****

Its simple translation into English may be rendered as follows:

“The Satsang of the Saints is such a Kalpatru {wish-fulfilling stone} that it distances all one’s desires. It is said that the Kalpatru satisfies all one’s desires, but it has never been found by anyone. But Satsang itself is the Kalpatru. Therefore, one ought to do Satsang continuously. If you can’t perform Satsang much, then do so a little, but do it with sincerity, don’t do it with dishonesty as that won’t result in any benefit.”
