The human mind is quite central
to the occurrence of divine miracles
in two contrary ways.

Firstly, it is the mind that allows
one’s faith to leap across usual ‘reality’
propeled by desire, mystical insights and beliefs.

Finally, it is the mind
naturally attuned to
a perception and comprehension of
God’s inconceivable Grace and glories
that merits, causes and allows
the very occurrence of miracles.

But the mind thinks only because
the heart loves God
and the soul
yearns for its lost bliss
wedded to the Being
that existed before It sired creation.

The mystery is resolved
only when the self
awakens to God
by transcending its human ego.

Attaining Unalloyed Bliss, True Contentment.

Sachha santosh tab avega jab surat aur man ko oonche deshon ke anand prapth honge aur jyon jyon oonche sthan ki chadhayi hothi javegi, usi kadar anand badhta javega aur Nij Desh mein poora santosh aur poora anand prapth hoga.”

---- Param Guru Huzur Maharaj Ji; Prashnothar, Guru Updesh, No. 59, Page 39.

Its simple translation into English may be rendered as follows:

“True contentment will come when the soul and mind partake of the bliss of the higher realms, and as ascent to the loftier regions keeps occuring, joy will correspondingly increase, and total bliss and complete contentment will be attained in the Original Abode.”

Three Kinds of Human Powers.
****

“Moreover, man has three kinds of powers, viz. (i) powers of the physical body and the senses, (ii) powers of the mind and the intellect, and (iii) powers of the spirit. Whosoever makes effort and awakens all these three kinds of powers is known as superior to all others and can attain a high region and can also learn the secret of the Supreme Being, while one who simply awakens the powers of one kind, would get benefit to that extent only, but nobody can attain the status of a person who, by means of practices, awakens the powers of his spirit and such a person would become dear to the Supreme Being and the entire creation would carry out his wishes.
... It should be noted that it is the duty of every man and woman that he should awaken at least to some extent all those three kinds of powers by means of continued practice.”

Thought, Decision, Will and Action. {76.}

****
Radhasoami!

One should be ultracareful
in one’s very thoughts.

As one thinks, one becomes.

Thoughts inspire desires.
Decisions get formed.
One becomes willing.

Actions invariably follow.

Upon one’s deeds depend Grace
and one’s destiny gradually unfolding.

Be very careful in your thoughts.
Shun unhealthy, unnecessary and wasteful thoughts.

Take care of your mind.
Decorate it lovingly
with pure, beautiful, noble thoughts.

After all, isn’t there
Someone Omniscient Who Remains
always Aware of everything?

The sincere need not even seek God;
instead, God Himself seeks the sincere out.
