Real Keys to Good Health. {123.}
****
Radhasoami!
There is much being written nowadays
about the apparent body-mind connection.
Actually, a holistic approach would regard
the soul-mind-body as the true substratum.
The soul determines a person’s faith,
ego, personality, sanskaras or aspirations,
karmas or deeds, entire living,
spiritual capital, and destiny.
It’s the soul that
determines a person’s mind.
Since the body is but the medium
through which the soul intends
to attain its worldly desires
and spiritual goals,
it is the soul that actually determines
the body that the person will have.
Your health, energy, ailments, pain,
healing, recovery, and the like
are inextricably linked with your soul’s urgings.
The sword weaves a scabbard
most fit for its purposes.
Basically, it is harmony
with the divine will
that leads to peace
and lasting good health.
Besides, the effect of karmas
needs be worked out before
the soul may attain salvation,
mandating the eruption of diseases.
No, this isn’t really mumbojumbo,
and consuming Prashad {sanctified things}
is a superb means
of eradicating one’s karmas.
The point I am emphasizing
is that goodness and spirituality
are eminently good for one’s health,
for very logical reasons.
It is your minuscule soul that can
recreate every single cell of your body,
streamline every single process occurring within it,
better than the best of medicines prescribed
by the world’s best doctors possibly can.
Sure, you need meditate and
awaken your soul’s faculties adequately,
but it is verily possible.
I have glimpsed as much
in my humble earnest strivings;
may Grace guide me onwards,
I trust the divine Law.

Features of the Ideal Religion. {119.}
Features of the Ideal Religion. {119.}
****
Radhasoami!
The ideal religion ought to ideally
have the following few
ideal components & features,
in a life where little
is ever ideal.
It should firstly have a
divine dimension to it,
having been founded by a
divine incarnation;
for what’s a religion without God?
There must be continuity in the
Mission of the religion,
beyond the shedding of body
by its founder;
an intergenerational lineage of gurus
appears rather inevitable.
It should address the human individual’s
need to pray, and teach one how to
meditate so as to
awaken one’s soul and
internally access the lofty divine realms,
thereby ensuring one’s salvation.
The ideal religion must ideally
naturally usher in
a better society
and a world that is
{saner}, more just and peaceful.
All this seems to be
a tall order.
So, how many religions
meet the above criteria,
or does even one do so?
Let time prove and effect,
for God’s will is mysterious,
subtle, but final.

Remain Satisfied with Master’s Grace.

“Jo kuchh kaam karey, uske phal ko Satguru ki Mauj par chod dena chahiye aur jis tarah Waha Rakhen, usi mein khush rahey aur shikayath na karey. Is tarah bhee nishkarma ho sakta hai.”
---- Param Guru Huzur Maharaj Ji; Prashnottar, Guru Updesh, No. 32, Page 36.
****
Its simple translation into English may be rendered as follows:
“Whatever work one does, one should leave its fruits to the Master’s Will and whichever way He Keeps one, one ought to remain happy with it and not complain. In this manner also can one become free of deeds.”

Thought, Decision, Will and Action. {76.}
****
Radhasoami!
One should be ultracareful
in one’s very thoughts.
As one thinks, one becomes.
Thoughts inspire desires.
Decisions get formed.
One becomes willing.
Actions invariably follow.
Upon one’s deeds depend Grace
and one’s destiny gradually unfolding.
Be very careful in your thoughts.
Shun unhealthy, unnecessary and wasteful thoughts.
Take care of your mind.
Decorate it lovingly
with pure, beautiful, noble thoughts.
After all, isn’t there
Someone Omniscient Who Remains
always Aware of everything?
The sincere need not even seek God;
instead, God Himself seeks the sincere out.
