God’s Miracles and Human Mind. {157.}

The human mind is quite central
to the occurrence of divine miracles
in two contrary ways.

Firstly, it is the mind that allows
one’s faith to leap across usual ‘reality’
propeled by desire, mystical insights and beliefs.

Finally, it is the mind
naturally attuned to
a perception and comprehension of
God’s inconceivable Grace and glories
that merits, causes and allows
the very occurrence of miracles.

But the mind thinks only because
the heart loves God
and the soul
yearns for its lost bliss
wedded to the Being
that existed before It sired creation.

The mystery is resolved
only when the self
awakens to God
by transcending its human ego.

Stirrings and Musings within Me. {156.}

Oh, help me, my Supreme Parent
arrive unto You at the earliest!

There are now stirrings within me
evoking words from a mystical well
too deep for me to fathom.

I feel I am steadily evolving
beyond disease, health, my very body,
into another aura sired by my resonating prayers
that can instantly heal or wreak
all that it pleases.

There is an intuitiveness
manifesting through my mind
that knows every truth there is
the unalloyed truth
the whole truth
shorn of distortion or verbiage.

Every mystery now stands resolved
and every question implicitly answered.
I have met and mated with the truth
and she is God.

I am amazingly moving
beyond sleep and wakefulness
into a continuing trance
that permeates my living.

I am inexorably transcending
beyond life and death
into a loftier realm
where the twilight glows
and the words infinity and eternity
have been fully realized.

I mock sorrow and joy alike
serene in a bliss that heralds
nascent paradise to me.

Like all life so far
this, too, shall soon pass
and the path ahead lit
by God’s growing potent Grace.

in loneliness i recklessly
delved deep within myself
until there was no i
to even experience feeling alone.

whom they all call god
is my being;
i have realized the truth
but life thralls me yet.

i long for the freedom
that was mine before birth
and i shall triumph
in challenging, transcending death.

god is a mere
state of my being.
and paradise the home
all exiled yearn for.

Close Your Eyes to Life. {133.}

Radhasoami!
****

Now, this is a tricky statement, indeed.

Closing one’s eyes to life
hardly seems like an ideal solution
to its umpteen ills,
or the most sensible mode to consummate it,
or to even truly transcend it.

However, instead of indulging in
mere intellectual satisfaction
to the detriment of truth
{yes, that is very possible!},
let’s try and get
what I’m trying to put across.

God and meditation and redemption
are enabled only through life
yet remain beyond it
and involve its transcendence.

Life is not the ultimate reality,
nor the best existence possible.

Life is a transitory state,
which the enlightened employ for their salvation.

The Buddha’s memorable last words on earth
perhaps cannot be bettered:
“All composite things pass away.
Strive for your own liberation with diligence.”

Life is just life --
dismally, incorrigibly, hopelessly --
even if one discusses God,
or the route to salvation;
the true journey has not begun yet.

The actual treading of the path
in meditation
is internal, solitary, lonely;
with one’s eyes closed
to life in its entirety,
both its best and worst.

God is beyond life.
Meditation is beyond life.
Salvation is beyond life.

Life cannot lead you to the afterlife,
unless you employ it rightly,
by denying it,
and seeking to transcend it rightly
through the prescribed techniques of meditation,
under the tutelage of
a living true master.

Well, well, nothing seems simple or easy.
There are too many usages
of such words as
‘right’, ‘rightly’, ‘prescribed’, and ‘true’
in the preceding paragraph.
And pray, who determines  ‘rightness
and how exactly?

Once you have yearned for God,
you cannot go back to
square one again;
your transcendence is rendered fated.

God is the supermagnet
that loves Her children.

If you really want God,
just trust that you will
be magically guided towards Her.

Remain true to your being
and honest in your quest.

As Goethe observed in Faust,
“For he who is unceasing in his striving
is ours for his redeeming.”

How You Should Love Guru.
****

Santon se aisi preethi honi chahiye, jaise jal machli ki preethi hai. Aisi preethi jisne Santon se kari, tho waha Unka pyara hua aur wahi jagath se nyara hua.”

---- Param Purusha Puran Dhani Huzur Soami Ji Maharaj;
The Holy Sar Bachan {Nasr}; No. 21, Page 78.
****

Its simple translation into English may be rendered as follows:

“There should be such love for the Guru as the fish has for water. Whoever loves the Guru in this manner becomes dear to Him, and it is such a one who becomes beyond {transcends} the world.”

Skirting on the Surface Perenially. {94.}

****
Radhasoami!

How long can this continue?
It is now getting unendurable.

This is just not it.

Mere skirting on the surface,
while the essence remains inaccessible.

Life has its own sundry
entanglements, limitations, compulsions and needs.

It merely perpetuates one’s bondage
to this world and life.

I long for the freedom
and transcendence that my soul
knows are its natural birthrights.

To slumber in life and
awaken blissfully to God within,
does not come quite easily.

I have been at it,
so may God help me;
I must gradually be nearing
the inner fusion I desire.

Let the soul awaken fast,
let God sanctify my soul.

God is to be realized,
I’ve had enough of this,
something must give way shortly,
I’ll access paradise very soon.

Transcend Space-Time-Causation Dimension. {78.}

****
Radhasoami!

There is a Guru Bachan
to the effect that
Sumiran helps one to transcend
the dimension of space-time-causation.
{Sumiran: chanting the divine Name.}

I don’t recall the exact words,
but I am yet
to comprehend it fully.

If constant Sumiran really can cause
{as it naturally must
because the Guru Bachans are true!}
one to transcend the barriers
of space, time and causation,
then one virtually ceases
to remain a human.

One becomes free from all karmas or actions,
even the ones that one commits,
since one always lives
inspired by God, dedicated to God,
and enveloped in consciousness of God.

God alone is the real,
mysterious, and absolute
dimension to existence;
so miracles need not surprise
one evolving closer to God.

True spirituality is mind-boggling;
the comfort of cozy beliefs
that one shares with others
needs to be shunned totally.

God demands and deserves transcendence.

Mysticism is only for those who can
walk the delicate internal tightrope to God!
