Spiritual Deeds Win Secret Rewards.

“Sansaar ki jo karthoot hai, uska phal jeeva ko pratyaksh nazrayi detha hai, is sabab se sansaar mein jaldi phans jatha hai. Aur parmarath ka phal gupt hai, us par jaldi nishchay nahin atha hai. Aur pahle nishchay hona zarur hai, kyonki bina nishchay ke karthoot kuchh nahin banegi aur jab kuchh karthoot na bani, tho phal kaise miley aur tarakki kaise howey.”

Its simple translation into English may be rendered as follows:

“With regard to worldly activities, one gets to see their manifest results, therefore, one gets entangled in the world easily. However, the rewards from spiritual activities are secret, and it is difficult to believe in them. It is necessary to first have the right belief {and trust}, for one cannot be enabled spiritual deeds in the absence of {faith and} conviction, and if one doesn’t perform any spiritual deeds, then how can there be any rewards or progress?”
