Radhasoami: The Very First Historical Revelation of the Most Sacred Divine Name "Radhasoami"! {2.}

Radhasoami!

The Radhasoami religion of Dayalbagh {more on this shortly} was founded, {as stated in post no. 1.}, on August 24, Monday, 1818, with the very Birth in Human Form of the Incarnated Compassionate Radhasoami, the SuperGod Who Resides in the loftiest divine Realm of Radhasoami Dham {the Abode of Radhasoami}.

When, however, had the most sacred divine Name "Radhasoami" been first gifted to humanity by an evolved divine personage?
The honor for this unique contribution & service goes to Param Sant Kabir.

In one of his couplets, Sant Kabir reveals:

"Kabir dhara agam ki / Satguru dayi lakhay
Ulat thahi sumiran karo / Soami sang milay "

Which means that Kabir speaks of the divine current {dhara} from the loftiest paradise, & bids that it is to be transversed {i.e. "dhara" is to become "Radha"} & is to be chanted & meditated upon by adding "Soami" to it; after thus having arrived at the complete most sacred divine Name, "Radhasoami".

Sant Kabir {1440-1518}, born in or near Benares {modern Varanasi in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India}, had been a poet-saint of northern India. A contemporary of Guru Nanak Dev, legendary account even believes the two to have met once.

Sant Kabir had been a saint of the Bhakti tradition & preached mystical worship of a universal God, who refused to be fractionalized by the religious divisions determinedly thrust upon Him by myopic & parochial humans.

The fifth Sikh Guru, Guru Arjan Dev had compiled most of Sant Kabir's devotional hymns, & they form an integral part of the Sikh scripture, the Guru Granth Sahib.

Kabir's greatest work is the Bijak {or Seedling}, a treasure-trove of poems that expound His universal & all-encompassing view of spirituality.

The Radhasoami religion of Dayalbagh reveres both Sant Kabir & Guru Nanak Dev as exalted saints & masters belonging to the Sant Math or the Religion of Saints, the precise tradition of which it is now the exclusive global torchbearer in the present depraved age of Kaliyuga {more on this later}.

Our scriptures contain several hymns of Sant Kabir, which are devoutly recited by the devotees as part of the routine Satsang or spiritual congregation held twice a day {in the early morning & evening, & largely simultaneously} in the Satsang Bhawans {or Halls} all across India & in several parts of the world.

Radhasoami!
