“... musibathon ka zamana ab shuru hua hai aur Radhasoami Dayal ki taraf se sab devi, devataon, aag, paani, wageirah ke naam Parvane zaari ho gaye hain ki waha apna kaam shuru karen aur apni poori taakathen isthemal mein laaven. ... yeh haalath hogi ki har Satsangi wa gair Satsangi ke moonh se yeh lafz khud ba khud niklenge ki agar ek ghanta aur Radhasoami Dayal humari khabar nahin Lenge, tho humara sabka khatma ho javega. Us Waqt Radhasoami Dayal Apni Poori Daya Zaahir Karenge, aur tab logon ko aslee kadar Sant Satguru ki maloom hogi. “... times full of difficulties have now begun and Orders have been Issued at the Behest of Radhasoami Dayal to all goddesses, gods, fire, water, etc. that they should commence their works and employ all the powers at their disposal. ... it will be such that from the mouth of every Satsangi and non-Satsangi the words will naturally be evoked that if for a single hour more Radhasoami Dayal Does not Care for us, then we would all be destroyed. During that time, Radhasoami Dayal Will Manifest His Full Grace, and then people will realize the true value of the Revered Leader. During that period, those who will have been former Satsangis, would certainly be drenched, but they will remain afloat. During that period, Satsangis can be helped tremendously by bearing the following three points in mind. Firstly, to perform Chanting of the Name, Contemplation of the Form, Meditation, etc. to the best of one’s ability. Secondly, to harbor close links and retain love among one another. Thirdly, if that time the Revered Leader Happens to Be Present, then by His Will, otherwise, to go by the will of the majority of Satsangis, and not to follow one’s individual inclinations.”

question various premises
of the world’s major religions,
including our own Radhasoami religion of Dayalbagh.


Yet I know this faith
lives in my very blood and bones.


Of course, that cannot serve
as clinching evidence
of its fundamental tenets.


It’s too long and arduous
an uphill climb, my Lord,
so Help me
for I at times
weary in my faith.


But I sense Your Love and Grace tugging me,
and I persevere in my honest quest,
despite such occasional fleeting ‘moments’.


May the Supreme Parent Radhasoami Dayal
Mercifully Guide me and all living beings
unto His eternal blissful paradise!

There’s long been an apparent battle
between religion and science,
with the latter deriding the former
for its absurdity, irrationality, and fraud.

However, if science lies
in the scientific method
of experimentation, verification, repeatability,
then I dare say
the Radhasoami religion is absolutely scientific.

The objective seeker isn’t asked
to blindly believe in God.

You are free to try out
the prescribed meditation techniques
and convince yourself that God exists,
that Radhasoami is a name
of mystical potence,
and that the Param Guru of Dayalbagh
Is Radhasoami Dayal’s Living Incarnation.

Of course, this would entail
earnest meditation by the scientist,
but even routine scientific discoveries
are preceded by painstaking efforts.

It is a moot point
whether anyone would care to
scientifically verify the divine truths
that the Radhasoami religion propounds,
but such objective strivings remain welcome.

“Until there is a Decree from the Beyond, no living being can join the fold of the Radhasoami religion. And once someone has entered {the religion}, then consider the stamp to have been put on {her or} him. Jis par Guru ki Kripa hogi, uskey nazdeek Kaal aur karam nahin avenge. Kul rachna ke sir par uska danka hoga. Koi chinta usko nahin hogi. Jo Sath Dhaar hai, wahi Mauj ki Dhaar hai. Aise premi ki kul karrawayi, kya swarthi kya parmarthi, Mauj se hothi hai. Uskey man mein koi chaha nahin rahti. Phir Kaal wa karam kisko dukh deven. Jiski karrawayi Maalik ki Mauj se hothi hai, ussey Kaal wa karam khud darte hain aur kaampte hain. Aise premijan ki pal pal chin chin mein Guru Aap Sambhal Karte Hain. ‘“A person whose heart flows with love for the Lord,
Kaal and deeds cannot defeat such a one.’
The one who is the recipient of the Lord’s Grace finds Kaal and deeds remaining distant from him. He will have suzerainty over the entire creation. He will have no worry. The Current from Satloka is the Current representing divine Will. All the activities of such a devotee, whether it is material or spiritual, occur determined by the divine Will. He has no desire left in his mind. So, whom can Kaal or deeds cause sorrow? Indeed, Kaal and deeds are themselves scared of the devotee, all of whose matters are governed by divine Will, and remain trembling. The Guru Himself Takes care of such a devotee every moment. Even he remains absorbed in the Guru’s essence around-the-clock and remains bathed in love. Those who have taken refuge in Radhasoami Dayal’s Lotus Feet are extremely fortunate indeed.”

“Choonki kayi janmanjanm ke yani sanchit karma aur uske pahle janm ke prarabdh karma aur isi janam ke kriyamarn karma, sab isi ek janam mein Santon ne bhugthane hain, so agar in karmon ka poora poora phal bhugatna pade, tho yeh chola hee chhoot jaaye aur hum saha na saken. Magar Santon ne jo Farmaya hai ki sooli ka kanta aur man bhar ka chatank bhar kar dethe hain, yeh bilkul theek hai, warna ek janam mein saare karma saaf nahin ho sakte.... Is tarah bahut se karma abhyaas mein katthe hain.... Tho har ek jeeva jo chahiye ki jab Charnon mein aaya, pichle jo karma kar baitha tha unke wasthe pachtaye aur ayanda kadam phoonk phoonk kar rakhe.... ‘Radhasoami Choden na jise Gahen ri.’”

“Because the load of the accumulated karmas of countless lifetimes and the latent karmas of the previous lifetime and the manifest karmas of the present birth, the Saints are to cause all to be worked out in this single lifetime, so if the effects of these karmas were to be borne in full, then the body would have to be shed and we would not be able to endure it. However, as the Saints have Declared that the stake gets converted into a thorn and They reduce a ton to a mere speck, this is absolutely right, otherwise all the karmas could not be eradicated within one lifetime.... In this manner, umpteen karmas get worked out while in meditation.... So every being ought to, ever since surrenderance unto the holy Feet, feel remorse for one’s past karmas and henceforth perform karmas with grave deliberation {caution}.... ‘Radhasoami Doesn’t Let go of those He Grasps.’”

especially about Satsangis.

So, may Radhasoami Dayal Mercifully Accept

at His Lotus Feet from me:

Please Grant that I receive
only good news,
and preferably, very good news,
and even better good news,
about those who’re Your Own,
Your Chosen, Loved, and Beloved.

Let my living be interspersed with
such recurring, joyous, heartening good news.

Let the loneliness and barrenness
of my life be brightened,
with such soothing and satisfying good news.

Let this joy now become
my constant companion

Rules of Self-restraint for Adepts.
****

1. Don’t eat meat, & shun intoxicants.
2. Reduce your diet by about one-fourth.
3. Reduce sleep to six hours per day.
4. Maintain only necessary contacts & relations with worldly people. Do not develop intimacy with them. Do not to interfere in others’ worldly affairs.
5. Do not entertain desires for sensory enjoyments or worldly objects, nor make undue efforts to get them, & indulge in them only with caution & as may be proper.
6. Don’t allow useless thoughts about worldly objects & enjoyments while in meditation.
7. Should value the Pleasure of Radhasoami Dayal & the Sant Satguru & should fear incurring Their Displeasure.
8. Don’t harbor jealousy or hostility for anyone.
9. Engage in performing good acts & refrain from bad deeds.
10. Have full faith in Radhasoami Dayal’s Grace. Perform spiritual practices twice or more daily. 11. Eagerly attend Satsang & attentively listen to Paaths {hymns} & Bachans & practice them.
12. Watch the ways of the mind & the senses & do not be deceived by them.
13. Should love true paramarthis {devotees} & be affectionate, warm & hospitable towards them. 14. Value your time & don’t spend it in useless & undesirable activities & matters. Should accept whatever happens in your worldly & spiritual spheres as the Mauj or Will of Radhasoami Dayal, & should continue with paramarath or spirituality, regardless of prosperity or adversity.

above the serene, Sanctified Dayalbagh.

A nexus of evil forces
had recently troubled Satsangis immensely.

Now, the inevitable has occurred:
Radhasoami Dayal has very Mercifully
Performed a timely, befitting Miracle
to Protect His very Own.

It is heartening that Satsangis
proved devoted, loyal, courageous, united;
this is a great reassurance
and we must remain so.

All those Satsangis who volunteered
for defensive Seva in Kheth
merit our praise and encouragement,
and Reward from the Lord.

A battle has been won,
matters seem far rosier now,
but remember that the war
has not been won yet.

Let’s face life with strength,
deeply believing in our Faith,
committed to service of all,
and trusting Gracious Huzur absolutely.

of Gracious Huzur “Prem” Saran Satsangi Saheb Ji.

The two-day delightful, morning
Holi Bhakti Sangeet Milan program
at the fields in sacred Tannery
almost transported one to Radhasoami Dham!

Let us all gratefully celebrate
the forward march of Satsang
in this world during Kaliyuga,
and humbly pray to our
Most Supreme Lord, Radhasoami Dayal
for befitting Grace enabling us
to grow and spread globally,
leading devoted, exemplary, happy lives.

Practice Makes Perfect, Turns Real. {72.}

“Kachhi se ek din hoegi pukki /
Jaisi baney taisi kar bhakti.”

Very apt, true and encouraging!

That is,
“From imperfect, it will become perfect,
Perform devotions just as you can.”

The above Paath or hymn lines from
the holy Sar Bachan {Nazm}
exhort us to continue
in our devotions to the Guru.

Do whatever you can,
do however you can,
do a much as you can.

Just don’t fail.
Just do it.
& keep on doing it.

Do your best and most,
even if is is imperfect,
even if it is limited.

Every karma or deed counts.
Every deed is being recorded.

All that you are now experiencing
is the result of your entire past karmas.

Hence, you must now invest
fresh good deeds
for a rosier future,
and the eventual bliss
of your salvation realized.

There will never be
quite an “ideal” time
or really “ideal” circumstances.

Do what you can:
right here,
right now,
with all that you have got!

“Ab ki chook maaf nahin hogi /
Nana bidhi ke kasht saha.”

That is,
“If you lapse now,
or fail to utilize
{your opportunities, faculties, abilities,
means, resources,
which Grace has given you
& is enabling}
you won’t be forgiven this,
and you will have to
endure various difficulties thereafter.”

This is a warning;
let’s take grave heed of it.

Practice makes one’s efforts perfect.
Practice turns the aspirations real.

God judges us by our sincerity
& does not really expect
perfection from us.

Must God not know
how frail humans are?

Yet Radhasoami Dayal Loves us all,
& we must absolutely continue
our devotions & services
in whichever way we can.

Attending Sacred Bhandaras Immensely Beneficial. {70.}

Satsangis are scattered the world over.

The Radhasoami religion revolves around
the Revered Leader.

True, the Guru Bachan
that had prophesied
that we would be able to have
the Sant Satguru’s Darshan
even though distant
has been fulfilled
at least in part.

However, pilgrimage to Dayalbagh,
especially upon sacred Bhandaras,
Gracious Huzur’s “Sakshath Darshan”,
or beholding of Real Countenance,
the fortune of Dhan ki Seva as Bhent,
{monetary service as a contribution}
paying homage at the Pavan Smrityalaya,
the Prashad of Sale,
and Arz {or supplication}at His Lotus Feet,
all have the potential of conferring
incalculable spiritual benefit upon devotees,
if performed sincerely and rightly.

Let us not doubt that
God exists in right faith,
and Radhasoami Dayal Is always Fully Aware
of everyone’s karmas and sanskaras
{deeds and tendencies}.

Finally, Grace will consummate matters
better than we might hope.

Progress in Vital Sphere Awaited. {66.}

The sanctified Satsang Hall in Dayalbagh
is currently being expanded and renovated.

Blessed are the Satsangis who have
Mercifully been Permitted to
contributed any money for this Seva.

I naturally feel greatly elated and proud
at any progress being made
in any sphere of Satsang,
perhaps much more than others
because our religion
is in my very breath and blood.

However, I cannot help feeling
that something is yet missing.

If an unshapely person dons
the latest designer brand clothing,
if an ugly lady wears jazzy jewellery,
elegance and beauty remain distant.

I hope I haven’t been
too harsh in my judgment.

Our religion is the world’s hope
for peace and salvation,
but if Satsangis themselves do not
reform, evolve, prove worthy, deserve Grace,
such external progress would be meaningless,
lost, prove in vain.

I humbly pray to Radhasoami Dayal
to Help and Ensure
that internal reform and evolution
among the Satsangis
also matches and keeps pace
with the progress being made
in other spheres of Satsang.

A pure and beautiful Satsangi soul,
reflecting inner beauty of the spirit,
and manifesting strength of the soul,
a refinement in values, polished character,
who lives in this world,
setting an example of how
Your Children ought to live,
moving closer towards Your Gloriousness;
Satsangis are yet far removed
from this ideal,
and only Your Grace
can work such miracles.
