There’s Many a Slip Betwixt … {135.}

Radhasoami!
****

Yes, there’s many a slip betwixt …

the cup & the lip,

one’s being & its perceptions,

the aspiration & the action,

the deed & the outcome,

the belief & the reality,

the emotion & attained happiness,

the truth & its expression,

the sin & its reckoning,

this world & utopian ideal,

one’s faith & its consummation,

one’s prayer & God’s Grace,

life's uncertainties & death's finality,

one’s meditation & final redemption.

Indeed, too many a slip betwixt ....

None of This is It. {127.}

None of This is It. {127.}

Radhasoami!

There’s something fractured and dissatisfactory
about life that is frustrating.

The best of experiences still lack
that certain something real, desired, meaningful.

Human language proves utterly inadequate
if one aspires to describe
the most sublime of experiences;
expression remains denied to me.

I cannot help constantly feeling
it’s on the other side;
call it God, reality, truth,
bliss, completeness, eternity, salvation, paradise.

Beyond the threshold of life,
across the embrace of death,
perhaps awaits my Supreme Parent,
I strive with that trust,
longing to transcendentally leap across.

Differences, Decision-making, and Wholehearted Cooperation.
****

“... Decision honey se pahle differences hone munasib hain, disagreement ho tho apni raay kayam karen wa express karen, doosron ki sunen, isse ek-doosre ke ideas clear ho jathe hain. Lekin ek martabe jab decision le liya gaya, tab wah sab ki raay ho jaana chahiye, aur phir baad mein khyal nahin hona chahiye ki main aisa nahin chahta tha.”

---- Param Guru Huzur Lal Saheb Ji.

Its simple translation into English may be rendered as follows:

“... Prior to the taking of a decision, the existence of differences is natural. When differences exist, state your opinion, listen to what others say, this leads to one another’s ideas getting clearer. However, once a decision has been taken, then it should become the resolve of everyone, and then later on nobody should think that {she or} he had not wanted it that way.”
